Senor Morgan exhibits the characteristics that were so popular in the movies...flashy flaxen, very pretty, lots of mane and forelock. I'll bet if you think about it you can recall many horses in old Westerns that look like this...whatever the color. Palomino was the rage too...the hero got to ride the flashy golden horse...quite often it was a Morgan. Also, picture him in Black...'Tornado', Zorro's horse for example. This Morgan stallion is also of old California breeding so he even fits the geographic profile.

Trivia
Most of the early 'entertainment' horses were Morgans, and most later ones have Morgan blood in them (Quarter Horses) .. and Morgans have Arabian blood in them.

The millionaire publisher William Randolph Hearst bred Morabs and so did many others at the time.

Remember the fancy Parade horses in the heavily laden silver saddles? They were often Morgan, part Morgan.

The performing troop of black horses that used to do their act at Knott's Berry Farm were....You guessed it.
