![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Khemosabi++++// 5/14/67-3/1/01 Goodby Old Friend, I sadly mourn The absence of Your graceful form. The proud held head, With nostrils wide. The gentle eyes With fire inside. Your dancing feet, And flying tail Coming to meet My beckoning hail. No more will ring Your clarion call, To greet your Ladies One and all. But now you graze With your own band, Celestial meadows Without end. Rest Old Friend, I'm sure you know, That in my heart You live again. -- Jeanie of Schell Ranch Arabians "I have had the privilege of feeding him "special Khemo carrots" many times over the last 12 years, and the even greater privilege of having two of his daughters and two Grandkhids here at home now." |

Khemo was more than a champion Arabian, he was a breed entire to himself. I am sooo glad that we decided to breed this line. If I ever did anything right in my life this was it. Khemosabi, we salute you. May the King live long in our memories and hearts. -- Jewel MistThe kindness, beauty, athleticism and versatility he himself exhibited and passed to his foals was truly remarkable. -- TaraHe brought me into the wonderful world of Arabians and for that I will be eternally greatful - thank you Khemo. -- DebFor a moment the Arabian world has stopped to mourn one of its beloved great ones. The uniting of so many hearts and minds is truly a tribute to a legend. Run with the greats that have greeted you, Khemosabi, and we will see you again. -- Cheryl
We all love you Khemosabi. You will always be in my heart. I'm glad our Khemo son is home with us today, or I'd have had to drive out to see him just to remind myself that we have such a wonderful legacy of the grand old man who was born in OUR back yard. I've often told him that his contract with us requires him to live at least as long as his father... I hope I can be with him in another 20 (or 30) years when his time comes. -- Karen KpM Cornerstone Arabians |
