Arabian Treasures Come to California

SX STALEYS GEMINI (*Serafix x Neecheza by Natez) and SX LA QUINTA (*Serafix x Cobah)

These two treasures were both born the same day, July 11, 1973! A very good day!! Both are in excellent health and appear to have found the "Fountain Of Youth"! They will live out their lives at Pegasus Park.

SX STALEYS GEMINI GOES TOP FIVE IN REGION 1 at age 29!!!!

I am very happy to share that SX Staleys Gemini has won Region 1 TOP FIVE Champion Stallion. What a guy! Melissa Feather did a wonderful job of handling him! I am so proud of Gem and as he left the arena with his rosette around his neck he stopped and struck a pose that was so full of pride and regal bearing. He just knew that he had "done good". Prior to the awarding of the Top Five, the announcer called Gem out of the line-up to introduce him, his bloodlines and his birthdate. This was a total surprise to us but Gemini took it in stride - showing off all the way. We had the class videotaped, so I hope they captured this part. We also gained a large cheering section, a lot of them we were meeting for the first time. Margaret Rich came up to Melissa and Gem just prior to the class. Her advice to Melissa was, "don't show this horse - exhibit him. Its just so wonderful that he's here. Let people appreciate him!" That's just what we hope we accomplished. -- Marci

SX Staleys Gemini and SX La Quinta arrived at Pegasus Park on 2/06/02. They were both shown at the SEAHA Show in Pomona on 4/14/02, and each won their 15 and Over Halter Class and the Perpetual Trophies that go with those wins.
